GOI is not for everyone.  If you love the MUT style of play, you will most likely not enjoy GOI.  In general, we try to limit the rules to just those we feel have to be in place.

These rules are designed to eliminate the ability to manipulate the artificial intelligence programmed into Madden. When an action is determined to predictably allow for an unfair result, we normally put a rule in place to disallow it.

Outside of game play, there are some rules that govern each GM’s respect towards each another, participation, and other items that we feel are important to preserving the integrity of the league for all GM’s, current and future.
