Position Guidelines
1.0 Request to Change Positions
1.1 Unless otherwise noted, players will not be able to change positions unless they are listed on NFL.com at the requested position
1.1.1 If a player meets 1.1 they also must fall within the parameters of section 2.0
2.0 Positions Changes
2.1 The following positions can not be reassigned: Quarterbacks, Kickers, Punters
2.2 The following positions can be reassigned at the coaches discretion:
- Offensive linemen can be assigned to any position on the line
- Defensive linemen can be assigned to any position on the line
- Outside linebackers and Defensive ends are interchangeable
- Linebackers can be assigned to any linebacker position
- Free safeties and strong safeties are interchangeable
2.3 The following depth chart / in-game substitutions are not allowed:
- SS / FS / CB are not allowed in the SubLB positiont
- HBs are not allowed in the SlotWR or FB position
3.0 Position Physical Requirements/Limitations
3.1 No changes can be made until approved by the league
3.1.1 Position changes can only be requested during the Pre-Season thru the Trade Deadline or during the first three game weeks of a new GM.
3.2 The following criteria must be met for a position change:
- Halfbacks: CAR 75+, BCV 80+
- Fullbacks: 87 speed or lower, 60 run block or higher
- Wide Receivers: <235 lbs, <6’7, SPD 85+, CTH 70+, xRR 60+
- Tight Ends: 6’3+, 240+ lbs, RBK 50+, IBL 60+, <86 SPD
- Cornerbacks: MCV or ZCV 70+
- Safety: 200+ lbs, <87 AGI, <90 SPD
