1.0 Communication/Scheduling
1.1 League Advances every 72 Hours or when 90% of all games are resolved
1.2 Opponents should make contact within 24 hours and schedule the game within 48 hours. Efforts to schedule will be used to determine FW/FS
1.3 When contacting each other offer times you are available to play (i.e., “What’s good for you?” does not help. “I am available 4-6p and 8-11p EST” is more productive
1.4 If one opponent attempts contact and the other GM does not respond, the contacting player will be eligible for a FW
1.5 If neither party has offered a time to play or there is no common time available when the league advances the game will be a FS
1.6 At the end of the season players cannot elect to take a FL for draft position, but they can change their starters to give future players experience and promote a loss (as in the NFL)
1.7 If there is no human opponent available, the game will be a FW – no exceptions (we will do our best to prevent this from ever happening)
2.0 Game Tabs
2.1 Use your game tabs to schedule your game so all attempts can be seen – DM’s are not visible to for use in determining FW/FS
2.2 Be sure to @ your opponent
2.3 Players are expected to check Discord twice per day – you must be active to stay in the league
2.4 Players must respond to @ messages within 12 hours under normal circumstances
2.5 It is the GM’s responsibility if he/she mutes Discord to manually check-in twice per day and respond
3.0 Missed Time Policy
3.1 New GM’s must adhere to the Rookie GM section of the rule book
3.2 Be respectful of each others time, the purpose of this league is to play the games
3.3 If a game time cannot be kept, contact your opponent to inform them and attempt to reschedule
3.4 A missed scheduled time will result in a FL if it cannot be rescheduled
3.5 GM’s are allowed to post scheduled times that they will be away from their system once per season – the request must be posted in advance in the Discord channel #requested-time-off
4.0 Missed Time Violations
4.1 Missing two set game times in a season will result in a Penalty and re-entry into the Rookie GM program
4.2 Missing three games in a season will result in a Commissioner’s review and possible GM suspension/permanent ban from the league
4.3 Scheduling abbreviations
- FW = Force Win
- FL = Force Loss
- FS = Fair Sim
