Gameplay

1.0 Pre-Game

 

1.1 All coaches must use a Custom Coach
1.2 Stock Team Playbooks Only (generic playbooks are not allowed)
1.3 Be sure your depth chart is legal (no safeties in at LB/SubLB, etc.)
1.4 Always show playbooks before entering game
1.5 Team must dress in a non-white uniform during snow games


2.0 Streaming

 

2.1 Home team sends game Invite
2.2 Visiting team streams
2.3 Game stream should be announced using the “@Live Gamestream” tag in the Discord game channel at the beginning of the game
2.4 Streams are saved for future review
2.5 During the playoffs both teams stream
2.6 YouTube is the only approved streaming service


3.0 Playcalling

 

3.1 League limits number of same plays and frequency of same play calling in-game, no running back to back plays (including during hurry up)
3.2 Offense: Play calling must maintain a ratio of 70:30 for run/pass or pass/run
3.3 Defense: Play calling must maintain a ratio of 70:30 for man/zone or zone/man
3.4 Must Rush 3 or more defenders on all plays
3.5 No blitzing and engaging with a blocker and then disengaging back into coverage (does not apply to screens)


4.0 Pre-Snap Adjustments

 
 4.1 Audibles to a different play are allowed

4.2 Maximum of four (4) hot routes or individual defensive assignments per down
4.3 All players must be set before the snap
4.4 Offensive player must give defensive player ten (10)  seconds to adjust to offensive movement prior to the snap or defense is exempted from movement rule
4.5 User can move one (1) defender out of position pre-snap


5.0 Quarterback Play

 
5.1 Quarterback cannot lead in carries

5.2 No throwing outside the numbers (outside the numbers meaning numbers to the sidelines on both sides) – once outside the numbers you must run or throw ball away


6.0 Clock Management

 
6.1 Chew clock only when up 21+ in the 2nd Half or any lead in the final two minutes of the game

6.2 No-huddle allowed twice per possession
6.2.2 No-huddle is unlimited if down by 14+ in the first half or losing in 2nd half
6.2.3 Offense must change play during a no huddle, but defense is exempted from changing the play


7.0 Special Teams

 

7.1 Fake field goals and fake punts must follow 4th down protocol unless losing in the 4th Quarter
7.2 Onside Kick allowed when losing
7.3.1 Two-point conversions are not allowed when leading by 16 or more points. Allowed any other time.
7.3.2 If a team is in an “iced-kicker” environment (stadium effect, end of half, etc.) or their kicker is injured they may always elect to attempt a 2-point conversion
7.3.3 If a team is losing they have unlimited attempts at two-point conversions


8.0 4th Down

 

8.1 4th & Goal and 4th & 1 or less : Always Allowed
8.2 4th & 5 or less: Allowed at or beyond your own 40-yard line
8.3 4th Quarter & Overtime: Always Allowed
8.4 4th down always allowed when down 21+ in the 2nd half and beyond your side of the 50 yard line
8.5 End of Half: When less than 0:05 seconds left in a half, team may choose to throw a “Hail Mary” pass regardless of position and yards to go
8.6 See 7.1 for 4th down Special Teams rules


9.0 Sportsmanship


9.1 Max Point Difference: 35 Points
9.1.1 Run only if up by 35 points
9.1.2 If down by 21+ in 2nd half you can chose to concede the game (must use concede option to save stats)
9.2 Chew Clock: Only when up 21+ in 4th Quarter or any lead in the final two minutes of the game
9.2.1 Manually counting down the clock is considered chewing the clock
9.2.2 If the offensive player is up by 9+ points in the final 2-minutes of the game and the defense is out of time outs or not using them you must QB Kneel with tempo set to chew clock
9.3 SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE: If you were 80% or better towards a Dev Trait challenge and you kneel it out, you will be granted the trait if it was posted prior to the game
9.4 Criticizing or raging against the game or your opponent in a public channel will result in a penalty from the league
9.5 Protests regarding a rule violation should follow the procedure listed under the game protest section
